Each bundle includes one ethically grown Mugwort (Black Sage), bound with home grown Lavender, locally sourced Bay Leaves and in season florals & a hand chosen Clear Quartz crystal. *🤍

Benefits

Mugwort: Mugwort, also known as Black Sage, is a plant that is native to Northern Europe.

Burning Mugwort will help cleanse an area of all energies, both good and bad. It will remove stagnant energy and make room for you to enhance your creativity, insights and inspiration.

After burning, it is best practice to follow up the cleanse with some sort of positive ritual to bring back in that positive energy that you are wanting to promote, either by singing, dancing, meditating, or singing bowls.

We do not use white sage or call this practice ‘smudging’ as that is a religious practice done by Native Americans. This is not our heritage, nor do we want to practice a ritual that is sacred. We use Mugwort as this is grown in areas of our heritage and create our own practices.

Lavender: Lavender brings positive energy, opens the heart chakra, calms the mind, releases fear while being effective at soothing the nervous system. Lavender has powers of protection, calming and cleansing.

Bay Leaves: Bay leaves have an elaborate history dating back thousands of years and were used for their health benefits by the ancient Greeks and Romans. Bay leaves contain pinene, cineol and elemicin compounds which create a stimulating calm effect. Traditionally, it is used as a sedative and anti-inflammatory, but it also lowers blood pressure and heart rate when burned.

Clear Quartz: Clear Quartz, known as the master healer, is a great tool that helps us find the inner sense of peace we need so much in times of distress and tension. Clear Quartz can be efficiently used to help us remain centered in tensioned situations.
